Refund policy

Eligibility

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify, items must be:

  • Unused

  • In original packaging

  • In resellable condition

  • Free of wear, dirt, odors, damage, or modifications

Items that show signs of use or misuse may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount at our discretion.


Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Used gear

  • Damaged or modified items

  • Items missing original packaging

  • Clearance or final-sale products

  • Consumables (filters, hydration packs, first-aid items, etc.)

  • Gift cards


Return Process

All returns must be approved before you send the item back.

To start a return:

  1. Email info@theadventuregears.com

  2. Include:

    • Your order number

    • Description of the issue

    • Photos of the item (required)

  3. You will receive return authorization and instructions

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


Refunds

Refunds are issued after inspection of the returned item.

Please note:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer

  • Refunds are sent to the original payment method

  • Banks typically take 3–10 business days to post the refund

We reserve the right to issue partial refunds for:

  • Missing components

  • Damaged packaging

  • Signs of wear

  • Misuse or improper handling


Exchanges

Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items.

If a replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be issued instead.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrived damaged:

  1. Contact us within 72 hours

  2. Include photos of:

    • The item

    • Damage

    • Packaging

    • Shipping label

We will replace, repair, or refund depending on availability.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you do not see your refund posted:

  1. Check with your bank or card issuer
